The AAA Five-Diamond Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has completed a $180 million transformation, featuring a refined organic architecture deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture. The resort offers 463 fully-renovated guestrooms, including 107 Residential Suites, featuring dark wood floors, new marble bathrooms, flat-screen LCD televisions and Hawaiian inspired artwork. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua also features six restaurants, new fitness center with spectacular ocean views, renovated meeting space, new children's pool and an enhanced Ritz Kids program. The resort is renowned for its world-class golf courses, an award-winning tennis facility, white sandy beaches including America's Best Beach, and a myriad of restaurants and shops.
The 17,500 square foot spa features 15 treatment rooms with half opening to private outdoor shower gardens, and all with iPod docking stations with pre-programmed music selections and robe warmers. The spa also features two outdoor couples' hale (cabanas), men's and women's relaxation areas with the depiction of lava stone grotto areas, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools, and the only coed indoor/outdoor relaxation area in Hawaii with a whirlpool overlooking a taro patch garden.
