- A $1.6 million lobby enhancement will occur from April 12 - July 31, 2010. The project includes new flooring, wall coverings, lighting, artwork and meeting space. Work will be done Mon - Fri between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Work areas will be cordoned off from view and most heavy work will be completed during the first 2 weeks. The front desk will be moved to an area adjacent to the lobby. The four low-rise buildings will not be affected by the construction. From April 12 - 30 the Aloha Tower, where the lobby is located, will be closed. So during these dates, no guests will be in the building with construction. Starting May 1, 2010 only the upper floors of Aloha Tower will be open to create a buffer zone to minimize noise and disturbance. Both the Day Spa and the General Store will be closed for the duration of the project. Guests will be provided with cold beverages, snacks and cold towels upon arrival. Both the complimentary daily coffee service and the complimentary, weekly Mai Tai Party will continue throughout the renovation period.
